[MEAN WELL Hong Kong Charity] "Trust and Gratitude" Charity Concert

Hosted by MEAN WELL Hong Kong, the "Trust and Gratitude" Charity Concert was held on the evening of October 28, 2023, at 7:30 PM in Music Zone, Kowloon Bay International Trade & Exhibition Centre (KITEC). This marked the first time the SDG Group expanded its "Trust and Gratitude" Charity Concert outside of Taiwan—where it has been held continuously for 13 years—bringing its core philosophy of trust, gratitude, and inclusive heritage to an overseas venue. With the active participation of MW SDG’s colleagues and partners across the regions, we together witnessed a heartwarming charity musical feast built on love and trust
The inaugural Hong Kong charity concert opened with a retrospective video highlighting 13 years of concerts hosted at corporate headquarters, showcasing how subsidiaries around the globe fulfill their roles as corporate citizens through dedication to charitable causes. In 2023, the SDG Group organized and participated in over 50 charitable donations and events worldwide. As an integral part of the group, MEAN WELL Hong Kong inherits this corporate spirit, actively contributing across local sectors including child assistance, education, poverty alleviation, elderly care, and environmental protection. The company aims to fulfill its role as a corporate citizen in Hong Kong, contributing to a better environment for the next generation.

The concert featured warm opening remarks and seamlessly hosted segments by renowned Phoenix TV presenter CoCo. Audiophile singer Mimi Lo delivered a soulful rendition of "Below the Lion Rock," evoking the resilient spirit of Hong Kong people and deeply moving the audience. CECES-a charitable organization long sponsored by the SDG Group, featured underprivileged children trained by volunteer music teachers, performing a sweet ensemble piece on ukuleles. Special needs children from Greengrass Note shared infectious smiles as they performed rhythmic African djembe drumming accompanied by the song "AMANI," uplifting the room with a message of world peace. Prominent singer Miriam performed "Pearl of the Orient," an iconic tribute to brilliant Hong Kong, accompanied by visual backgrounds that led guests on a musical journey through the city's famous landmarks. The grand finale arrived when the hosts, performers, and over 200 guests turned on their smartphone flashlights, waving their hands in unison while singing "A Grateful Heart." The venue transformed into a sea of stars, and the lyrics—"A grateful heart, thankful for you..."—instantly united and touched the hearts of everyone present.
Through this charity concert, SDG Group – MEAN WELL Hong Kong calls on all partners to turn love into action. Charitable work knows no boundaries or borders—it begins with each and every one of us.
